Intro-mediate Solid Sculpture: Make a Frog! Sunday, January 19th 10am-12pm

Please note: This is an "intro-mediate" level course—all attendees must have taken an intro level course prior to attending this class. We'll jump right into the projects in this class!

In this 2-hour class, students will learn how to safely use a torch and melt COE 33 borosilicate glass rods to create small glass frogs. Learn how to shape and sculpt your glass, and add extremities using a “swipe-on” technique. Students should plan to have their work annealed after class for pickup the following Monday.

All tools, glass, and safety equipment provided. Please wear long hair tied back, closed toe shoes, and avoid baggy sleeves. Be sure to bring water to stay hydrated, and paper and writing utensil if you'd like to take notes. 

Classes are formulated for adults. Kids aged 9+ may take a class alongside an adult; both child and adult must be individually registered to take the class. Ages 14-17 may take the class individually with a guardian's release.

Class Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

Classes, once scheduled, are non-refundable. If you do need to reschedule, please plan to do so at least 3 days prior to your scheduled class, or a $15 rescheduling fee may be incurred. We ask that any rescheduling happens with as much advance notice as possible, however, we understand life has its extenuating circumstances at times. 

Any weather-related class cancellations will have the option to reschedule with no fee, or receive a refund.
