Intro to Beadmaking: Make a Snowman! Sunday, December 8th 10am-1pm
In this 3-hour class, students will learn how to safely use a torch and melt COE 104 soft glass rods to create 4 different beads to make a snowman keychain or ornament! Learn how to form a glass gather and apply it to a mandrel, make stringers, and add some festive surface decoration to your beads. Attendees can expect to make 4-6 beads during during the class.
There will be an option to anneal (stabilize in a kiln—this is recommended) your beads, in which case they will be available for pick-up by Monday 12/18.
